Dataforth was established in 1984 to provide signal conditioning, data acquisition, and data communication hazard protection solutions to the ever-enlarging factory automation markets. The original entrepreneurial venture was spawned by the Burr-Brown Corporation, an international leader in analog integrated circuits and related products and now part of Texas Instruments, Inc.
Today, Dataforth is a worldwide innovator of signal conditioning, data acquisition, and data communication products. It maintains a positive revenue growth and delivers a steady introduction of new products offering customers high quality solutions for their industrial applications.
We are fully committed to the highest standards of quality for our development and manufacturing processes as well as to preserving the environment. As such, CRFS is certified ISO 9001.
Each Dataforth 5B module provides a single channel of isolated analog input or output
-- Input modules interface to all types of external sensors, then filter, isolate, amplify, and convert the input signals to high-level analog voltage outputs
-- Output modules accept high-level analog voltage signals from a host system, then buffer, isolate, and amplify them before providing process current or voltage output to field devices
All 5B modules are CSA C/US certified and CE and ATEX compliant.
Each Dataforth 7B module provides a single channel of isolated analog input or output.
-- Input modules accept analog voltage or current signals from all types of field sensors and sources; they filter, isolate, amplify, linearize, and convert the input signals to high-level analog outputs for use in process control systems

H igh quality 9B modules provide cost-effective protection and conditioning for a wide range of distributed data acquisition and control applications including process monitoring and control, remote data logging, product testing, and motion and motor speed control.
Our extensive line includes fixed and programmable sensor-to-computer and computer-to-analog output interface modules, RS-232/RS-485 converters, RS-485 repeaters, and applications software. Accessories include a complete selection of backpanels, DIN rail mounting options, interface cables, mounting racks, power supplies, and other accessory items.
All 9B products are CE Compliant and manufactured per RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC.
Dataforth offers a broad line of digital input and output modules and accessories providing safe, reliable interfacing to industrial measurement and control applications. Installed near individual field loads, SCMD modules create a rugged protective isolation barrier, effective to 4kV, between the field and computer system.
Use of these modules can also reduce field wiring costs while establishing an economical, manageable approach for system expansion and repair.
The MAQ20 family consists of DIN rail mounted, programmable, multi-channel, industrially rugged signal conditioning input and output modules and communications modules (Figure 1). Each I/O module has a 1500Vrms isolation barrier between field-side and system-side wiring, and many models offer per-channel isolation. All field wiring terminals are heavily protected against overload, accidental connection of incorrect signals, and ESD. Modules mount on the industry standard 35x7.5mm gull-wing DIN rail. A backbone mounts within the rail providing power and communication interconnections between the communications modules and each I/O module.
Dataforth's SLX300 data acquisition and control system features complete flexibility while providing 1500Vrms channel-to-channel and channel-to-system isolation for all channels. In addition, with the exhaustive selection of 8B modules, the mix of I/O functions can be changed at will. There are 89 analog I/O models and 14 industry standard digital models that may be used in SLX300. It may be used as a panel mounted back plane or in a metal, rack mount, 1U height package. Using Dataforth ReDAQ Shape software, almost any low to medium speed data acquisition and control solution can be achieved.
The Node 50-8 is characterized by outstanding phase noise, noise figure, channel retune time and spurious free dynamic
range parameters, well above any other product in its class. It also offers all of the multi-mission capability of the RFeye
product range allowing multiple concurrent measurements and geolocations to be performed and multiple users to connect
simultaneously from remote locations. The Node 50-8 includes an on-board SSD for logging large data sets.

Dataforth's DSCT series of loop powered 2-wire transmitters consists of seven family groups with a total of 48 transmitter models that interface to a wide variety of voltage, current, temperature and position measuring devices.
Dataforth's DSCP series of products, along with the DSCL product line, provides a complete family of loop and universal AC/DC powered isolator and transmitter models in component, DIN rail, panel, and head-mount packages.
Depending on the model, they accept a wide range of voltage, current, thermocouple, and RTD input signals, then filter, isolate, amplify, linearize, and convert them to high-level analog outputs for use in data acquisition, test and measurement, and control system applications.

The PWRM Energy Monitoring Modules are IoT, universal, high accuracy, compact, self-powered, electrical energy measurement devices that interface to three-phase and single-phase energy systems. Specifically designed for industrial and commercial heavy-duty new and retrofit applications, the modules provide a wide range of highly accurate power and energy measurement values over an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
The DIN-rail mounted enclosures have pluggable terminal blocks for phase voltage and phase current which simplifies setup and maintenance, and the small format requires little space in control cabinets. The PWRMxx modules interface to phase voltages of 85–265VAC or 85–525VAC, 50/60Hz, and are self-powered from any of the lines. Higher voltage applications can be addressed using voltage transformers (VTs) and appropriate scaling in the module.
Phase current inputs have an industry-standard range of 0VAC to 0.333VAC. An external shunt, current transformer, or Rogowski Coil is used to measure currents directly or non- contact.
Industrial LANs and data communication systems stretch over long distances, inside and outside, with signals exposed to electrical transients, noise, ground loops, power surges, and lightning. Commercial communications equipment often is not designed for use in these environments, which can lead to unreliable signal quality, damage to expensive peripherals, computers, and other online equipment, and production downtime.
Dataforth's heavy duty products "harden" and protect these systems, and can extend communications for many miles without expensive low-capacitance cabling.
Data communications in industrial and institutional environments can present special problems. Lines must be run over long distances, often ranging from thousands of feet to several miles, indoors and outdoors and from building to building. Such data communication systems must be able to function in the presence of electrical transients and noise, ground loops, power surges, and nearby lightning strikes. Our heavy duty industrial data communication products "harden" and protect these systems and can extend data communication networks for many miles without expensive cabling.
