Modular rack mountable multiplexer that can accept many types of data and video for use in data transport and recording applications. .
The AL4301 is a serial data multiplexer and demultiplexer depending upon its configuration. As a multiplexer, the unit is used to combine several data streams into one higher speed stream for convenient data transmission or storage on a single channel recording device. The demultiplexer configuration subsequently accepts the composite data-stream and reconstructs the original channel signals. In full duplex applications, a single AL4301 chassis is used to house both the multiplexer and demultiplexer. However, if all of the modules shown in the drawing are contained in a single chassis and that chassis is duplicated at the opposite end of the data link, the application becomes full-duplex. In record/playback applications the independent operation of the Multiplexer and Demultiplexer sections allow playback and read after write functionality using only one unit.

Smaller, Tougher version of Apogee’s AL4300 Suitable for Airborne & Harsh Environment Applications. The AL4000 is a field configurable system for merging multiple data sources into a composite stream (multiplexing) for transmission over communication data paths and separating and reconstructing the composite stream back to the original data sources (demultiplexing). The unit is configurable to accommodate full duplex requirements (multiplexing and demultiplexing in one chassis) and also simplex requirements in which it will perform either the multiplexing or demultiplexing functions.
Modularity and scalability are integral elements of the AL4000 design, making the unit easy to use and expand. The AL4000 can be configured to address specific application requirements and the plug-in modules are easily installed into the chassis, permitting ease of expansion or reconfiguration in the application. Each time a card is installed in the chassis, initial power-on tests are performed, the card slots are read to detect the presence of a card, and the installed cards automatically initialize and re-activate the last programmed settings.
The AL2175 is a fiber-optic multiplexer/demultiplexer that provided an isolated fiber-optic link between two UHF datacom radios. The system in comprised of AL2175 chassis, an AL2175-UA module, and an AL2175-SPV module. Each module resides in an AL2175 chassis.
The AL2175-UA and AL2175-SPV modules each reside in their own chassis. The chassis provides power and status for the internal power supplies. The AL2175-UA module then provides all the connections to hook up to the end users UA radio. Likewise the AL2175-SPV module provides all the connections to hook up to the end users SPV radio. The modules are connected using a pair of multi-mode fiber optic cable. Once powered on the signals on the connectors are then transported across the fiber optic link to the other module to enable communication
The AL2175 chassis, AL2175-UA module, and AL2175-SPV module are all deigned to function without user configuration being needed
The AL2873 Configurable Interface Unit (CIU) is a modular equipment chassis that provides the platform for a wide variety of Interfacing Functions. Protocol conversion, link testing, data acquisition, and signal distribution are just a few of the capabilities of this system.
With 14 module slots, multiple applications can be simultaneously supported. An easy to read front panel and hex-numeric keypad make setup and monitoring of application modules extremely simple. All information and configuration setup is available through remote control via a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection. Pluggable redundant power supplies are available for this
system to provide extra peace of mind.
The AL8400 Data Acquisition Multiplexer accepts a variety of analog and digital signals and multiplexes them together into a single stream of digital data bits for recording, transmission or IRIG compatible decommutation. The unit utilizes standard sampling techniques and generates standard IRIG PCM telemetry formats. A standard Class I or Class II decommutator / frame synchronizer may be used to extract the data. Alternately, data may beingested by a computer for storage and processing.
The unit is configured using a simple remote control program which requires a minimum of operator interaction. All Model AL8400 control and setup information passes through the micro-processor of the PCMGEN module. In order to keep the front panel menu driven display simple, the software is configured according to the data acquisition modules that are installed. Separate documents are provided that describe, in detail, the installed modules.

The AL1025 distributes Serial PCM data over a wide range of commercial IP-based networks, in real time and with very low latency… either short distances through a LAN or longer distances through a WAN or ISP. The
system enables the transmission of multiple telemetry streams from one point to multiple locations while maintaining their time-data relationships, making it a highly reliable and economical alternative to dedicated
serial interconnection systems. Moreover, the embedded system management software is easy to set-up and enables monitoring of the distribution network via a user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) or secure SNMP Connection.
The AL1110 SPIN and AL1111 SPON are part of a series of Apogee Labs Data Network Appliances (DNA) that provide a flexible, scalable and cost effective Ethernet transport for serial PCM data, audio, and video (NTSC and PAL). The SPIN and SPON enable PCM data and clock with serial rates up to 35 Mbps to be sent across LAN’s and WAN’s at network speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps with minimal overhead. The DNA series is built on a core technology that supports transport speeds in excess of 500 Mbps thus allowing for future expansion to utilize the capabilities of higher bandwidth network design
The SPIN and SPON were developed with both the novice and experienced network integrator in mind. Novice users need only modify a minimal number of settings to begin transmitting data over the network; whereas advanced users may modify packet sizes, port numbers, protocols, MTU sizes, and other lower level settings

The AL2273 is a fully non-blocking matrix switch capable of accommodating matrices ranging from 16 inputs x 16 outputs up to 256 inputs x 256 outputs. The modular design allows for an asymmetrical configuration of I/O modules, such as 128 x 256. Signal types supported include TTL, RS-422, and low speed analog. The digital I/O modules can be used together in any combination allowing both switching, signal conversion, and signal distribution.
The AL2273 system is comprised of two sub-assemblies that consist of an I/O module chassis and a switch controller, both of which easily mount into standard 19”-RETMA electronic equipment racks. Designed for ease of use, hinges on the I/O module chassis permit access to the rear of the chassis and standard BNC/Twinax connectors enable the use of existing patch panel cabling, without the need for special dongles.
